The Last of Us Part I Remake: Platform, Release Date, Trailer, and More

The Last of Us is undoubtedly one of the best videogame series for every gamer out there, especially part 1, which became an immediate success when it was released in 2013 on PS3 and soon on PS4. Naughty Dog is now looking to bring the same experience back with significantly enhanced graphics that will be on par with part 2.

The remake will have upgraded looks and graphics with several new features like a speedrun mode and many unlocked items. All of this sounds very promising, but the most crucial concern for the time being is, will it be available on PS4?

The Last of Us part 1 remake will not be available on PS4 and will only be released on PS5. Unfortunately, there is no further official announcement about its future release on PS4 as well.

As the remake is being advertised as “built for PS5,” it seems highly unlikely that it will ever come to PS4.

When will the Last of Us Part 1 remake be released?

The Last of Us Part 1 remake will be released on September 2 for PS5, and a PC version for it is already in development.

As per the available information from Sony’s PlayStation Direct site, the remake will include upgraded versions of the base game and its DLC prequel, Left Behind.
