Even More FPS Boosted Games Coming “Soon” to Xbox Consoles!

An ambiguous tweet from a senior member at Xbox has hinted to the fact that more games will be receiving the FPS Boost treatment in the near future.

A Twitter user recently asked Jason Ronald, Xbox Director of Project Management, when people could expect a new FPS Boost announcement from the publisher. Ronald responded with just “Soon”, alluding to the fact that Microsoft may have a new announcement ready to be released soon. That’s all the info we have for now, so what games will be getting the treatment is everyone’s best guess at this point.

Microsoft had revealed the FPS Boost program in the middle of February this year. They also revealed a list of games which would be getting the treatment, and the list included Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry 4, and Sniper Elite 4. They did the same again in March, this time announcing that select Bethesda titles would be getting improved frame rates at no extra charge. This announcement included popular titles such as Skyrim: Special Edition, Fallout 4, and Dishonored.

With just a month having passed since the last announcement, its clear Xbox fans are eager to see which titles will be included in the next update. According to sources, Microsoft had planned to release new FPS Boosted games every few weeks. If this is to be believed, then it is very likely that we will be getting a new announcement very soon.

In other related Xbox news, Microsoft has started the limited beta of Xbox Cloud Gaming on iOS and Windows 10, giving select Game Pass Ultimate members the chance to try out cloud gaming on PC and mobile. The company had planned for a full release of the program in Spring, and they seem to be first trying it out with select Xbox players before rolling it out to the masses.
