Imagine Bioshock’s gameplay but only with an eerie and creepy scenery that promises to give you night terrors. That’s Scorn for you! Scorn is a first-person shooter game that is set in an air of dread and misery.
The game recently received a new gameplay trailer of 13 minutes and it’s fair to say that it has a rough feeling of horror and trepidation.
Inspired from the work of famous artist H.R. Giger, the surroundings radiate eerie vibes. Visually, it has the kind of charm that will make you disgusted but at the same time make you come back asking for more.
As seen in the trailer, the game houses an unorthodox environment and on top of that, it’s an open-world game with regions connected to one another.
Thus, one is free to check all sorts of peculiar things that are to be offered within the bio-mechanical sphere. All the regions will pack their own stories. Therefore, solve puzzles, annihilate foes, and get to the bottom of things to unlock the mysteries of that location.
Your foes as seen in the trailer are vicious and they’ll eat you up at any chance they get. Thus, players will have to be alert always.
It must also be noted that Scorn doesn’t have any cut-scenes. Therefore, be on the lookout for something essential that might happen across your frightening adventure.
As unnatural the setting is, the body movement mechanics will seem pretty realistic to you. You will actually witness your hands grabbing objects from the ground.
Other important advice: Make every bullet count. You won’t have an abundance of ammunition lying by your side. Adversaries won’t bestow any mercy either. Aim properly and don’t shoot recklessly the moment you see something alien crawling towards you.
