Twitter user @carygolomb pointed out the 12% performance boost in the Unigine Heaven OpenGL on the Ryzen 7 6800U APU.

The benchmark test shows that the Ryzen 7 6800U had set the TDP to 10W. The iGPU scored 900 points compared to the original 804 points with older drivers.

The new optimizations can improve performance by a significant margin. Minecraft showed up to 92% increased OpenGL performance for Radeon RX 6950XT GPU and up to 75% with the Radeon RX 6400.

The update finally optimized AMD’s GPU architectures for older APIs. AMD also introduced Noise Suppression for a distraction-free experience by allowing users to adjust both input and output noise. The technology used Intelligent Audio enhancement powered by real-time AI and Deep Learning algorithms.

AMD Noise Suppression reduces background audio noise from your surrounding environment, providing greater clarity and improved concentration whether you are focused on an important meeting or staying locked-in on a competitive game. By using a real-time, deep learning algorithm to reduce background audio noise, this new feature works for both your input and output devices across any AMD-powered system, removing unwanted background noise captured on your microphone or from someone else’s device.
