Details of Three Changes Revealed from Cyberpunk 2077’s Patch 1.3

Since its botch-job of a launch last year, Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way from what it was. After several updates, the game is still not perfect but is definitely better than the original version. Even now, CD Projekt Red is busy improving the experience by releasing updates to address fan feedback and make quality of life changes.

We now have the long-awaited Patch 1.3 dropping soon and will bring a slew of changes with it as the previous updates have done. Three changes have been detailed so far, with the first being a tweak to the GPS.

Once the new update has been downloaded, players will notice that the GPS is much more zoomed-out than it was before the update. We’re expecting this to make driving cars in Cyberpunk 2077 and traveling to objectives a much smoother experience than the current scenario.

While it may seem like a minor change to some, quality of life improvements like this tends to really shine through once you’re hours into a game.

The second change noted is a minor tweak to a mission titled “Automatic Love,” where players have to choose between dolls Angel or Skye in a brothel.

Previously, the gender of the dolls was hard to discern, which may have led to some awkward moments if players wanted to get with the female doll or vice versa. Now, it will be much more evident when choosing that Angel is the male doll and Skye is the female.

And the last change detailed by CD Projekt Red is the most significant of the trio. Once players have Patch 1.3 installed, they will be able to reset perks. This is a huge addition, but it does come at a cost.

For some in-game credits, players will be able to reset their perk choices, giving them the ability to spend them all over again so they can tweak V to better suit their liking. This has been a highly requested feature for the game, so many fans will be delighted with its addition.

Patch 1.3 sounds like it’s going to introduce some changes that should make for an overall better experience for the players, but it’s also clear that there is a lot of work left to be done. Fans are also eager to learn more about the Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen ports, which will hit the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with upgrades that further improve the playing experience.

Other fans are also hoping for more information on content updated for Cyberpunk 2077 that will add new story content to the game. CD Projekt Red will be hosting a live stream on Cyberpunk 2077 on August 17th at 10 am ET, so we might get more info then.

About Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.

Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
