Genshin Impact Version 3.8 is set to release in early July, with Version 3.7 releasing tomorrow. Developer HoYoverse hasn’t revealed any official information about Version 3.8 as of now, but leaks have provided some information about the characters that’ll be featured during its gacha banners.
Eula is expected to be featured within the game’s gacha alongside Klee. Eula will return to the game after the game has added multiple Physical damage support characters. New leaks have revealed more information about who will appear in the game’s Version 3.8.
Genshin leaker Keika via leaker HutaoLover77 has revealed that there is a “100% chance” that Hydro support Sangonomiya Kokomi will be featured on the gacha banner during Version 3.8 and is also heavily rumored to be involved with 3.8’s event story.
The leak also states that popular Inazuma Hydro character Kamisato Ayato will not have a re-run in the game’s Version 3.8 update. Kokomi’s re-run is set to be featured in the event story for a limited brand-new region coming to the game. Version 3.8 is rumored to include a limited-time island region which might have connections to the upcoming region of Fontaine.
Version 3.8 is expected to be the last update before the region of Fontaine comes to Genshin Impact, which is expected to drop in the Version 4.0 update. HoYoverse has yet to say anything about the upcoming banners so it’s worth noting that the banners in this article are subject to change.
On the other hand, Genshin Impact’s official Twitter has confirmed the banner characters and weapons arriving in Version 3.7. According to the post, Version 3.7 will feature the following characters:
- Yoimiya – Five-Star Pyro bow user
- Yae Miko – Five-Star Electro catalyst user
- Kirara – Four-Star Dendro sword user
- Yunjin – Four-Star Geo sword user
- Chongyun – Four-Star Cryo claymore user
Kirara is the only new roster addition in the upcoming update. It was also confirmed that Yoimiya will receive an individual Story Quest in the upcoming update. So get ready for Version 3.7 of Genshin Impact, dropping tomorrow.
