God of War Ragnarok’s PS5 File Size Has Been Revealed 

God of Ragnarok’s release is getting closer and closer with just a few weeks left till it officially launches worldwide. But since some reviewers have already gotten review copies of the game, the file size of the PS5 version of the game has been revealed. The PS4 version of the game will take up over 90 GB, double the size of God of War (2018) which was around 45 GB. 

It has been revealed that the PS5 version of God of War Ragnarok will take up 84 GB. God of War Ragnarok will take up over 118.519 GB on PS4 in total and will take up 90-100 GB on PS5 in total. PlayStation Game Size confirmed this information on Twitter. Check out the tweet below: 

This page reveals file sizes of all upcoming PlayStation games before they release. Pre-Load for God of War Ragnarok is also confirmed to start from November 2nd, a week before the game officially launches. Even though God of War Ragnarok takes up a lot of space on both consoles, it’s still in line with AAA games from the previous generation of consoles.

Sony Santa Monica Studios recently announced that the game has officially gone gold. A day 1 patch can also be expected to fix any remaining small bugs in the game or to just improve the optimization of the game on consoles. Sony has also released a behind-the-scenes video for God of War Ragnarok called “Shaping the Story” to celebrate its launch and more of them will be released every Tuesday for the next 9 weeks.
