NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Pictured, Confirms “AD106-350” GPU

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 series’ release is getting closer, and the closer we get towards its release, more leaks start to occur, confirming previously rumored information.

The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti was previously rumored to be based on Ada Lovelace or the AD106-350-A1 GPU core, which is a cut-down version of the full AD106 graphics chip. But we finally have leaks confirming that information.

A picture leaked by hardware leaker MEGAsizeGPU gave us our first look at the Ada Lovelace GPU powering the RTX 4060 Ti, confirming that the card will be equipped with the “AD106-350” GPU and will feature 4352 CUDA cores, which is less than the full chip’s CUDA cores (4608 cores).

The Ti variant will come with 8GB of GDDR6 memory across a 128-bit memory bus, which is a bit of a downgrade from the RTX 3060 Ti as that one came with a 256-bit memory bus.

The card is apparently limited to PCIe Gen4x8, which is generally seen in low-end GPUs, so that might negatively affect performance when playing high-end titles.

The RTX 4060 Ti is expected to launch sometime next month, although a specific date hasn’t been revealed as of now, and the price is expected to be set between $399-499.

AMD is also set to release its new mid-range GPU next month, so they’ll compete against each other to deliver the best possible performance in the sub-$500 segment.
