AC Valhalla Alliance Map Order- Should You Follow or Just Wing it?

Making friends and joining alliances is a big part of Eivor’s journey and may become an important factor in AC Valhalla. The ultimate fight with King Alfred in England will prove to be a tough battle to win if Eivor does not have the support of friends and a big garrison of soldiers willing to fight for victory.

As you progress the game, you will have to venture to different places and meet new people. Befriending those people will guarantee new alliances in the game.

But, there seems to be a certain doubt among the players regarding the Alliance Map order in the game. While some players love to follow the order as the game suggests, some tend to wing it, which brings the question of the correct Alliance Map order in mind.

What’s the correct order? Or is there even such a thing as the correct order? Let’s find out together.

1. Should You Follow Alliance Map Order in AC Valhalla Or Do As You Like?

Alliance Map

It is best for players to follow the Alliance Map order in AC Valhalla and pledge loyalty to the areas according to their suggested power levels to grasp Eivor’s story better.

If you do not follow the Alliance Map order, you might lose some important information for the game’s ending and miss out the opportunity to get the true ending in the game. If you still want to try out your own alliance order, be aware that you might miss out on major plot arcs in the game.

Although, keep in mind you can choose to start with Ledecestrescire, Grantebridgescire or Lunden and follow that specific Alliance Map without worrying about missing the other two areas.

Now, let’s get into the best Alliance Map order you can follow so that you don’t miss out on any part of Eivor’s Viking story.

2. The Best Alliance Map Order to Follow in AC Valhalla?

The best alliance map order players can follow for Ledecestrescire is:

Speaking to Randvi to See the Alliance Map

Ledecestrescire -> Grantebridgescire -> East Anglia -> Oxenefordscire -> Sciropcire -> Cent -> Essexe -> Lincolnscire -> Suthsexe -> Jorvik -> Vinland -> Eurvicscire -> Glowestrescire -> Wincestre -> Snotinghamscire -> Norway -> Hamtunscire.

Basically, you should just pledge the areas as suggested by their power levels. You can pledge the areas with the same power levels in any format you want. It won’t matter if you do them out of order. Just remember to do the main ones as suggested.

You can also start with Grantebridgescire and continue with Ledecestrescire and follow along with the map order. Keep in mind, Lunden might be of a higher power level than Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire, so pledge to that area when you have sufficient power level.

Choosing Grantebridgescire will take Eivor to experience the “The Song of Soma” arc with “The Great Scattered Army” as the starting quest, while choosing Ledecestrescire will let Eivor experience The Kingmaker’s Saga arc with “The Sons of Ragnar” as the starting quest.

Remember, choosing Grantebridgescire before Ledecestrescire or vice-versa won’t make a difference in your playthrough. You will get to experience both the stories regardless the order. Also, do keep in mind; the game does not give special priority to any of the alliances, so you don’t have to worry about making an area mad due to your allegiance to another. Your alliances are amicable towards your clan and also each other.

Randvi will also hint at making newer friends, suggesting that you grow your alliances. Just pay attention to the dialogues and you will get the perfect alliance to support you in the tough battles.
