Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2’s Release Delayed

Initially, the game was expected to roll out in 2020, but the devs postponed its launch to 2021 in order to smoothen its gameplay. However, the release of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has now been delayed to the next year.

Publishers Paradox Interactive announced today that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will now roll out in 2022. Moreover, the company announced that developers from Hardsuit Labs are no longer working on the game. The new developing partner of the game has not been revealed by the Publishing company yet.

The game is being delayed to produce something that enthusiasts can dive into and enjoy.

To shed light on the recent moves, Paradox CEO Ebba Ljungerud, in a statement, said

“We have now chosen to postpone the release of the game further, and we will not be launching the game in 2021. We have also decided that Hardsuit Labs will no longer be leading the development of Bloodlines 2, and we have started a collaboration with a new studio partner to finish work on the game.”

Due to this delay, pre-orders for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 have also been cancelled. One will be able to pre-order the game as soon as a release date is set.

“Since we cannot at this time communicate a new release date, we’ve also decided to stop accepting pre-orders for the time being.”
