Rev your Way to Victory in Warzone’s New Dirt Bike Races!

The beauty of playing online is that people always have new ideas of having fun within the game. And many times, this isn’t even through the traditional methods of playing. This is precisely what Warzone players have done, with squads creating sudden motocross races during the matches and ignoring the battle royale happening around them.

Season 4 of Warzone added dirt bikes to the game, and players have really taken a liking to the vehicle. Described as the “terror on two wheels” by the devs in the patch note, the bikes are currently the fastest vehicle in the game, with great handling on tight turns.

The bikes can be found spread out around Verdansk and come with several new features to Warzone, including new guns and a fast travel system courtesy of large red doors on the map. Unfortunately, while the bikes handle great, they are also the weakest road-going option in the game with the same health as an ATV, making them a bad choice if you get ambushed.

Reddit user MrCabbage and his friends managed to secure a bike for each member of their four-squad and then headed to the Kart Racing Track in the south-western area of Verdansk to set up a race.

They were “having a bad time in Warzone” and decided to blow off some steam by hanging some tight turns on the small track. This was until other players showed up and spoiled the fun for them.

The other players most likely heard the sounds of the engines and started to shoot the bikers from afar, causing the bikers and spectators to scatter. Unfortunately, they could never get back to their race as they got taken out by the invading players.

While that was the end of that session, it inspired MrCabbage to put out the idea that a motocross mode be added to Warzone, and many comments agreed with the sentiment.

While a motocross mode for Warzone does sound fun, many have pointed out that the physics of the game vehicles leaves much to be desired. The handling of the dirt bikes is an improvement compared to the other vehicles in the game, but it wouldn’t be up to snuff if the purpose of the mode was just racing.

But, if it’s just a casual race amongst friends, hopping on a dirt bike and exploring the map of Verdansk seems to be a great way to break up the game’s battle royale gameplay.
