Jar Bairn’s Location in Elden Ring
Players will find Jar Bairn in Jarburg, the village of living jars.
As mentioned above, to make their way to Jarburg, players have to navigate to the Carian Study Hall first. Upon reaching the hall, you’ll notice a bunch of platforms coming out of the cliff’s edge. Hop onto these platforms and progress until you receive an on-screen prompt notifying that you’ve reached Jarburg.
Once you enter Jarburg, you’ll come across a jar sitting on top of a few stone stairs in front of an abandoned building. Although your initial instinct might be to fight him as he resembles the jar enemies you’ve fought before, you’ve to show restraint since that jar is Jar Bairn.
In addition, he’s just a child jar, so it’s best if you apply brakes on the hungry boss destroyer inside you!
Completing the Jar Bairn Questline in Elden Ring
Jar Bairn’s questline is quite unique compared to the rest of the Elden Ring NPC quests. The couple of other questlines it’s intertwined are Jar Alexander’s and Diallos’. Consequently, this fact fuels the narrative that Jar Bairn’s questline was originally a part of the game, but it got left out eventually.

Then, you’ve to gather red flowers nearby, rest at the Grace Site again, and wait for Jar Bairn to tell you a story about Jar Alexander.
After going through the subsequent dialogues, fast travel or rest, and allow Bairn to tell you about the poachers invading the village.
II. See through Diallos’ Heroic Efforts
Once you complete Diallos’ questline, Bairn will inform you that Diallos has come to Jarburg. Find Diallos in a hut nearby and interact with him.
To progress ahead, you’ve to refresh multiple times. You can do so by resting at a close Site of Grace to fast-forward time, but fast traveling in and out of Jarburg will do the job!
Converse with Jar Bairn when you find him standing on the path leading to the village. He’ll tell you about the heroic efforts of Diallos to protect the villages by trying to defeat the invaders.
Players will come across Diallos on his death bed. They’ve to exhaust dialogues with him, and regardless of their reply, he’ll gradually die, paving the way for the next step.
III. Handover Alexander’s Innards to Jar Bairn
Refresh Jarburg, locate Bairn near Diallos’ dead body, and converse with him for the last time. Additionally, you’ve to complete Alexander’s quest to acquire his Innards.
After handing over Alexander’s Innards, finish the conversation with Bairn by choosing the necessary dialogue options. Voila! You’ve successfully completed Jar Bairn’s questline.
